Audrey Vijaindren from New Straits Times from Malaysia has an article on how the economic crisis has affected the young entrepreneurs. I found this article particulary interesting as I already had my thoughts on why is good to start a business in a tough economy, and furthermore, the interviews I did latelly with young entrepreneurs like Ohad Rosen (24) , Amit Avner (23) and the rest on Entrepreneurship Interviews taught me that the young have a set of advantages in these times.
From Audrey’s article: “top young entrepreneurs who’ve made it to the who’s who list in business are convinced that starting a company in this economic crisis will reap great benefits in the future.
“This is the best time to be an entrepreneur. The economic downturn provides a great opportunity to start your own business.
“It’s not easy to get a job now but it’s cheap to start your own company. Costs are low and competition is less,” says Catcha Media Group founder and group chief executive officer and Iproperty.com executive chairman, Patrick Grove.”
